Something I will never understand is the idea that science is just too difficult for God to do at all :)

Are there any near death experiences in Christian scripture?

1. Yes, there are a few near death experiences in Christian scripture. Here are a few examples:

Paul was shipwrecked three times, stoned once, and beaten on numerous occasions. He also had a vision of the third heaven. In 2 Corinthians 12:1-4, he writes, "I must boast, though there is nothing to be gained by it. I will come to visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—was caught up to the third heaven. And I know that this man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words that are not lawful for man to utter."

Lazarus was dead for four days before Jesus raised him from the dead. In John 11:1-44, Jesus tells Lazarus' sisters, "Your brother will rise again." Martha replies, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Jesus says to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live." Jesus then goes to the tomb and calls Lazarus out, and he comes out.

John the apostle was boiled in oil but survived. According to tradition, John was persecuted for his faith in Rome and was boiled in a cauldron of oil. However, he emerged unharmed.

These are just a few examples of near death experiences in Christian scripture. These stories show that God is powerful and can even save people from the brink of death.
