There seems to be a mechanism to collapse which has no preconceived form!

What struck me in the article is that a stray photon could cause collapse.
From my other sources, once collapse happens, there is only information left.
However, during an event, any happenstance could affect the actual outcome.

The experience of the event was contained in every path that light traveled.

My human experience of the event was only one of the paths that light took.
Once any event ends, the information is always available as a cosmic memory.
Any new event, while it is happening, can end either randomly or controlled.
The ultimate answer seems to be controlling the desired outcome at collapse.
Any outcome then becomes information, and we are free to start a new event.
The physical reality is likely not ever a final condition since we are free.
I believe that our actual life is in the quantum field with complete freedom.
The physical reality then becomes a memory cloud which is available to anyone.
